The Maurin Ranch is a private ranch which consists of over 25,000 acres of land that we own and exclusively hunt. All of our Deer hunting is “Fair Chase” meaning there are NO high fences on our Ranch. Our deer are free to come and go as they please. We have over 25 stand/blind locations spread out over the ranch which gives our hunters many options for their hunt each day.

We pride ourselves on being a smaller, more personalized deer hunting outfitter. We limit group sizes so that you can have a personalized hunting experience. Father and son groups, husband and wife groups are all welcome and can be accommodated. Because we are part of the Texas Managed Lands Deer Program (MLD) we enjoy liberal season dates. Our Whitetail Deer Hunts can start as early as October first and run into February which gives us plenty of dates to choose from when booking your Texas Deer Hunt. The best part, all of your licenses and tags are guaranteed! No waiting and wondering each year if you will draw a tag.

The hunting guides on the Maurin Ranch consist of West Texan’s who know how to hunt deer in this type of desert environment. Your hosts during your hunt will be Leigh Nuncio and Leslie Easter, who live and manage the ranch and deer herd for us year round. When needed, they enlist the help of several local deer hunting guides. These men and woman are all hunters themselves and their expertise in the field will provide you with a memorable hunting experience. When you are not hunting, you will stay in our comfortable lodge that is located in the center of the ranch. Each day you will enjoy home cooked meals, Texas style, so you won’t leave us hungry!
